Akira is a Japanese term meaning bright, glowing. In this product, it represents the beauty of two materials that combine to best express their characteristics: solidity, warmth and naturalness in every grain of the wood that acts as a structure; resistance, softness to the touch and a gentle caressing feeling given by the
leather coating to the top, as only leather can do.
The design of Akira is aimed at highlighting the connection between the solid ash and the leather: one alongside the other, not for simple necessity, but just to exalt each other. The two materials are connected to each other, the structureis permeated to the slats, and the thick leather emphasizes the curves and shapes marking the contour with skillfully crafted saddlery seams.
