On the 500th anniversary of the birth of Leonardo da Vinci, the Naviglio celebrates both pride for the great master’s Milanese period, and the suggestion for the archetypal ideal of the “work table”: the trestle structure, the light volumes, the simple shapes.
Designer: Marina Bani
Naviglio is almost a tensile structure, slender as a bridge between the two ends of its solid wood supports.
The top and the “courtesy-panel” are thin components, finished in leather, like a single large writing pad stretched like a light wing.
An elegant Renaissance suggestion for a warm and welcoming work environment.
