Akira is a Japanese term meaning bright, bright. In this product, it represents the beauty of two materials that combine to best express their characteristics: solidity, warmth and naturalness in the grain of the wood that acts as a structure; resistance, softness to the touch and caressing delicacy that the leather coating gives to the top, as only leather can do.
The design of Akira is in fact aimed at highlighting the interplay of relationships between the solid ash and the leather: one approached to the other, not for simple necessity, but just to exalt each other. The two materials are connected to each other, the structure is penetrated to the slats, and the leather emphasizes the curves and shapes marking the profiles with saddlery seams performed artfully.
